Focus on New York City

The ProCon Shootout is a free photo contest open to all students. The concept is simple: You have 24 hours to submit up to three photos you’ve shot in the city.

Your images will be judged by a noted New York City fashion photographer and staff from B&H Photo, one of the nation’s largest photo/visual/audio stores, based in Manhattan.

Learn more at the B&H table in the exhibit hall. B&H sponsors the Shootout.

SESSIONS

The Shootout is hosted is by Leanna Šiupinys, a fashion photographer based in Brooklyn. Shootout participants can consult Leanna for advice ranging from technical to technique at the first session below…

The Shootout: The kick-off

ProCon’s free photo contest begins with advice from a noted New York City fashion photographer who has worked for Nike, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and more. The Shootout then sends you into the city to photograph anything you want. But you only have 24 hours. We’ll explain the rules, but if you can’t make the session, head to the B&H table in the exhibit hall for all the details.
